Newpark - May to late July

Starts: Tuesday 6th May until late July (about 10 weeks)

€45 (plus transaction fees) - this is a subscription event only. No free play. Each participant will be given a wristband that must be worn on entry each week. You can play as often as you like. Ideally pay in advance here or pay at the checking in desk at the gate.


1. Summer Hockey (over 16's) every Tuesday and Thursday 7pm - 8.30pm

2. Adult Social Hockey every Friday 7pm - 8.30pm

3. Over 35's Adult Social for Men & Women (or anyone who might want an easier pace) every Wednesday 7pm - 8.30pm

4. Walking Hockey every Monday 8.30pm - 10pm

€45 (plus transaction fees) covers you for all the above options but numbers are limited.

Parental advice for players 16/17 years old:
This is an informal fun hockey product. It is not training or a camp and parents must consent in sign up to the following:
You recognise that this is unsupervised adult hockey and you must be happy that your child is comfortable playing with adults of all ages and capability. You consent to your 16/17 year old taking part.
Players must behave in an adult manner - this is non competitive fun hockey and more capable players are generous with those who are developing or new.

General Rules:
The players must have current Hockey Ireland membership / insurance.

Any adverse behaviour will lead to dismissal. Overly rough, dangerous or other unacceptable behaviour will lead to a warning and potentially dismissal. No refund if dismissed.

If you were dismissed in previous seasons that dismissal is permanent and you cannot sign up for this event.

This is fun hockey and the coordinators will ensure each team is of mixed gender, age and ability so that it is fun for all.

Shinguards and Gumshields mandatory.

Players from other clubs or new to hockey are welcome and can join.

Note: The Well Wishers in St Andrews is a separate summer club and is not covered by this.
